This Waterfowl Habitat and Access (WHAP) Register To Hunt opportunity is open 7 days a week for waterfowl hunting only. Public access permitted only when WHAP sign installed at unit. Completion and display of Register To Hunt permit required for access to and use of this unit. Permit holders are required to comply with all access conditions- observe and obey all posted rules and boundaries. Hunting is open field with blind provided. A unit map is located at the parking area, as well as through online resources. Parking limited to 2 vehicles (1 party). All WHAP units have a 15-shell limit; shotgun shell and other garbage removal required. Unit closure may result from hunter misconduct and property misuse. Changing landscape conditions may degrade or make difficult unit access, and blind/unit may become entirely submerged- continued access allowed unless WHAP sign removed. Agricultural operations and landowner activities may require immediate unit closure (temporary or permanent).
