This Register to Hunt opportunity is open 7 days a week, during open Big Game seasons for deer and elk in GMU 407. Observe and obey all posted access rules and boundaries. A unit map is located at the parking area. The western boundary of this hunt unit is the South Fork of the Nooksack River, the eastern boundary is Hwy 9 and the Railroad tracks. Parking is limited to 1 space only. Only 1 party of 3 may hunt the unit at any one time. Please pick up garbage. ALL HUNTERS ARE NOW ASKED TO FILL OUT A HUNTER SUCCESS SURVEY CARD AT THIS LOCATION. Survey cards are located in white survey boxes at each parking lot below the parking lot sign. Surveys are used to improve the quality of the hunt, and guide management decisions. Leave the hooves of harvested elk in the field in accordance with new state law. Please contact the Washington Dept. of Fish & Wildlife if you observe or harvest an elk with deformed hooves.

Register to Hunt includes access to private lands where WDFW has a management agreement with the owner where hunting is regulated by registration. Hunters are required to sign in and sign out to hunt on properties posted with a Register to Hunt sign.
