More information/comments This Feel Free to Hunt property is open to Deer and Elk hunting only. 200 acres of steep montane forest located in Lewis County south of the Nisqually River outside of Ashford, WA. The site is accessed from the USFS 85 road. Park at the DNR gate and walk in to access the property. The property line begins about a ¼ mile past the gate and is easily accessed along a decommissioned haul road. Bounded by Tahoma State Forest on the west and Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest on the east.
