A. General
A Reservation Permit issued through this program provides the user or group named on the permit, a special hunting opportunity that is exclusive, or shared with a few others, during a specified time in a defined area. All hunters must register in the system and any and all participants, whether hunting or not, must be named on the permit. All participants must adhere to these terms and conditions and special rules for individual sites, including those that may be posted onsite. By registering for a reservation account for use with reservation properties you agree to and are bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and your permission to reserve properties is conditioned on your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
B. Definitions
“Agreement” means these Rules, Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
“Account” means an account established to register specifically for Reservation properties offered through the Private Hunting Lands Access Program..
"Reservation" mean a special privilege, through a permit, that allows exclusive or shared opportunity with few others, during a specified time in a defined area.
“Commission” means the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission.
“Landowner” means the legal property owner or agent designated by the legal property owner.
“WDFW” means the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, an administrative agency of the State of Washington.
C. WDFW’s authority to manage reservations
Only three (3) active reservations are allowed per reservation hunt account at one time. Being a member of a group hunt is considered an active reservation.
Reservations may be cancelled by WDFW at any time, for any reason. In this event every effort will be made to notify the hunter as far in advance as possible.
Reservations are non-transferrable.
Commercial use of this reservation system, including guiding, is not permitted.
To qualify for senior hunts a hunter must be 65 or older at some point during the license year.
To qualify for youth hunts a hunter must be under the age of 16 at some point during the license year.
WDFW reserves the right to put an account on administrative hold if an account holder abuses the reservation system or breaks any part of this agreement.
D. Reservation account holder responsibilities
Hunters must be properly licensed and otherwise eligible to hunt the current season during a reservation time period.
All hunting rules are still applicable and must be followed.
Hunters must meet all qualifications for special hunting seasons and rules established by the landowner where in place.
Any game species specified in the individual property information as available to harvest may be taken during a reserved block of time if the season is open and hunter has appropriate licenses and tags.
The hunting permit is limited to two non-hunting companions on the property unless specified otherwise in the individual property rules. (A disabled hunter is always allowed one companion.)
Hunters should make an effort to cancel reservations they will not be using to allow access for others.
Hunters should not contact the landowner unless contact information is provided by the system. In some cases hunters may be required to contact landowners.
E. Properties with specific rules
No scouting or other access to the properties is allowed during reservation blocks when the hunter does not have a valid reservation. Otherwise scouting is only permitted as specified in the special rules for each individual property.
Camping and Fires are not permitted.
All sites are walk-in hunting only unless specified otherwise in an individual property’s special rules.
If allowed in an individual property’s special rules, hunters may establish one temporary blind or stand but all materials must be removed from the site at the end of the reservation block.
Where blinds are provided, they must be used unless stated otherwise in the individual site information.
F. Indemnification
By agreeing to these terms, conditions and rules you agree to indemnify and hold harmless, the Landowner, the State of Washington, WDFW, the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission and the Commissioners thereof, and any current, former, of future employee, agent, or contractor of the State of Washington, WDFW, or the Commission for any actions, claims, liabilities, damage, costs, or expenses resulting from any provision of this Agreement.
G. Waiver and severability
Any failure to insist upon or enforce any provision of the Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision of this Agreement. If any term or provision of this agreement is unenforceable for any reason, that portion is deemed severed and the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
H. Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the entire agreement between you and WDFW and contains all the agreed-to terms and conditions. No other agreements or understandings, oral or written, regarding the subject matter of this Agreement will be deemed to exist to bind you and/or WDFW.
