More information/comments
This site is located along the Skokomish Valley Road across from W. Polly Jacobs Lane, past WDFW George Adams fish hatchery by Hwy 101. Watch for posted parking area as its location has changed. Skokomish Valley Rd is known to be affected by flood waters, rendering the road impassable and unit non-huntable during such events. Pre-reservation scouting is encouraged so hunter(s) know what to expect. Hunting Reservation Permit slip MUST be placed on the dashboard of vehicle while hunting. If the Unit is unoccupied after 8 AM, it becomes 'Feel Free To Hunt' and the first vehicle/hunter at the parking spot secures it. A maximum of 3 hunters and 2 vehicles may occupy the unit at any one time; a 15-shell limit is in place. Temporary blinds only and absolutely NO metal stakes or posts (such as T-posts) may be used for blinds; natural materials (bamboo) or small wooden stakes (2”x2”) may be used on site. This is an active working farm. Expect farming activities.
