More information/comments Early Muzzleloader Elk Season Reservation only opportunity for 2 separate individual hunt reservations per day. Limit your total # of reservations for this hunt to a maximum of any TWO days to allow greater public opportunity. Hunters who violate this request may have their reservations cancelled. Valid reservation hunters only are allowed to hunt & may have 1 non-hunting companion. Reservation Confirmation slip MUST be placed on dash of vehicle & a 2nd copy MUST be carried on-person while hunting. Parking located at the end of Stackpole Rd. Walk-in access only from parking area using the Yellow Trail (Bearberry Trail) from Green Trail (Bay Loop Trail). Hunting is allowed 150 yards north of the Yellow Trail (see map). Firearms must remain unloaded on the trail; be aware this area is also open to the public for hiking along the established trails & along the ocean beach.
